The compressor in a new energy vehicle uses an electric compressor driven by high-voltage electricity from the power battery.

  Within the condenser, the refrigerant transfers heat to the external air and liquefies, becoming a liquid. The liquid refrigerant flows through the expansion valve, where its temperature and pressure decrease, before entering the evaporator. Within the evaporator, the low-temperature, low-pressure liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the interior air and evaporates into a gas, which is then drawn back into the compressor for the next cycle, thereby continuously lowering the interior temperature.

  For heating systems, there are currently two main types: positive temperature coefficient thermistor heaters and heat pump systems. PTC thermistor heaters increase temperature by applying electricity to the thermistor, causing it to generate heat. Some vehicle models use PTC thermistors to heat water, which is then sent to the heating core in the air conditioning ducts, and warm air is blown into the vehicle interior via a blower.

  The ventilation system is a crucial component of the air conditioning system in new energy vehicles, responsible for introducing fresh air into the vehicle and expelling stale air. The ventilation system primarily operates in three modes: natural ventilation, forced ventilation, and combined ventilation.
